Technology and Design Technician (permanent)
We have an exciting opportunity for a flexible, hands on individual to join a busy and popular Technology and Design Faculty providing a range of courses in Design Technology, Engineering and Art at Key stage 3, 4, and 5. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate competency in the use of a range of workshop machinery and resources. The post will include the preparation of teaching resources, maintenance of equipment and supporting pupils on an individual and small group basis under the direction of the teacher.
You will be joining a team who are passionate about engaging and inspiring our young people and we are looking to recruit a colleague with both the commitment and relevant skills/experience to help drive our raising standards agenda across the whole ability range.
Previous school experience whilst an advantage is not essential.

Interviews are planned to take place on Week commencing 24/6/19. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be in post for 2nd September 2019 although opportunities for transition working with the current post holder will be considered.
