At Bedwas High School we are committed to providing impartial and informed careers guidance for our learners, as set out in our Careers and Work-Related Experiences (CWRE) policy.
It is our aim to embed CWRE across the curriculum in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 as well as deliver specific CWRE content as part of our PSE lessons, form time and in activities and presentations throughout the school year.
We also have a partnership agreement with Careers Wales who deliver independent and impartial careers information, advice and guidance (CIAG) at school, in partner locations, online as well as over the phone and via social media.
Careers Wales and Your School
As part of this agreement, a professionally qualified Careers Adviser, Sarah Piper, is based at school two to three days per week, during term time. Learners are encouraged to make an appointment - sarah.piper@careerswales.gov.wales, for advice and guidance on making education, training or employment decisions.
